The Horror of Mr. Bucket!!!

In the early 90s I was far too busy chasing skirt to watch after school cartoons. Okay...to be really honest...I was thinking about chasing skirt WHILE watching afternoon cartoons...I just never saw this. Had I, would have been doubled over in fits of laughter for weeks...as I was in 2004 when I saw the commercial at the end of an unmarked video cassette from the period. My three year old son had no idea why I was laughing, he simply laughed along.
I was laughing because of the jingle. And YES I know I'm laughing at something that most 12 year olds laugh at. I can't help it. It's funny. I have no idea how this got on the air. Wasn't there some executive at Milton Bradley, or the ad agency that said..."shouldn't we re-word this"? I'm positive the 4 year olds the game was aimed at never caught what I caught. Filth is in the eye of the beholder. And that's why Mr. Bucket's lesson to the world should be; always employ a childish, dirty minded guy to check your ad copy.
This isn't even Bert and Ernie living together subtext, this is in your face. The jingle says; I'm Mr. Bucket toss your balls in my top/ I'm Mr. Bucket out of my mouth they will pop. Later the announcer happily explains: "the first to get their balls into Mr. Bucket wins. But look out because the balls will pop out of his mouth!" Mr. Bucket then again exclaims; I'm Mr. Bucket, a ball is what I'm about. Please don't judge me. I couldn't help but laugh like a 12 year old. I'm only human. Hope you enjoy.

hahahahahaha....get it....balls.....in his mouth.......ahahahahahahahahaha, thats so wrong....ahhahahahaha but funny as hell
most ppl think he says put your balls in my mouth, he doesn't tho, i dont see why ppl find that funny, he says to pop the balls outta his mouth not in it.... oh well, i still find it bloody hilarious, i've been playing it for the past day loudly in my dorm pissing off my neighbors
i always thought it was 'mr bucket put your balls in my mouth, mr bucket, and ill spit em right out'... seeing how that isnt the case its not that funny except the way the bucket sounds like a retarted clown... sorry if that offends anyone but i didnt think that any other word would work besides retarted

Love this Jingle!!! reminds me of yo momma!
i tried to hear the commercial and the page wouldn't open, can you tell me if there is a way to find it again?
I remember that one-great add, I wish I had one. There's one that trumps it though, same time period. It's called "Willie Go Boom". Check it out http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/8771 the add has a similar jingle of 'you never know when willie will blow! Just pump Willie up and whoever gets willie to blow first wins!'
Yeah, hasbro must have had one dang determined disgruntled employee to get TWO of these products made.
Sorry if this is an extremly old post, found it digging arond.
Coming to this thread a couple of years after the fact, but I saw it in a Google search today... dunno about the US,. but this game has been revived and is on sale in Canada. I saw the ad on Canadian tv today (March 30, 2007)
The voiceover is different, it only mentions "first to get their balls into Mr Bucket wins" (or first to put?? can't remember, I was too busy laughing like a 12 yr old)
